How does it work?
In the Jane Iredale Makeup, there are no fillers like talc being used to dilute the effectiveness of the pigment. One quick application of Jane Iredale minerals provides all-day coverage that doesn’t fade, crease or smear. It can be easily applied with a brush or a sponge. As a result, the Makeup gives fast, even coverage that it would normally take three products to achieve. Our makeup also provides complete coverage for skin conditions like acne, rosacea, and redness.
Who is it for?
The Jane Iredale’s makeup is suitable for all skin types and ages. If you have extreme chemical sensitivities, you can still wear this makeup. Why? Because the top three sensitizers have been eliminated from the range: synthetic fragrance, dyes, and synthetic preservatives. Plastic surgeons, dermatologists, and skin care professionals recommend it because it is so effective.
Is it all right to use it on acne-prone skin?
We recommend that you seek advice first if you are under a doctor’s care for acne. Otherwise, we are confident that our makeup will not make acne-prone skin worse and may even help it. Jane Iredale makeup is completely non-comedogenic. It allows the skin to breathe and function normally.
Does it suit all skin tones?
These state-of-the-art minerals are available in so many colour’s. Consequently, there’s one for every complexion no matter what skin tone or ethnicity.
Are the powders drying?
No, quite the reverse. The minerals actually trap moisture between the skin and the particle layer. The high use of talc in most formulas is what creates the conception that powders are drying.
Does the makeup work on older or ageing skin?
Yes. Because this is a light-reflective cosmetic, it obscures the look of fine lines and wrinkles. As a result, it gives a healthy glow to the skin, making it look younger. Matte makeup absorbs light and allows the eye to see “into” the skin. On a very lined skin, after applying the minerals, it is helpful to spritz with our hydration sprays. This sets the makeup, softens lines and gives a dewy look.
Do the eye shadows crease?
Generally not. We advise applying our lid primers first for those with oily eyelids (unusual).
Are the lip and eye pencils interchangeable?
Absolutely. They all have the same ingredients.
How soon can the makeup be applied after laser, microdermabrasion or facials?
If the skin has not been broken, the minerals can be applied immediately after a microdermabrasion or facials. They will not only cover the redness, but the titanium dioxide and zinc oxide are known anti-inflammatories that will help to calm the inflammation.
Is the makeup easy to apply?
Yes! All our products in the range are designed to give fast, weightless coverage for the maximum effect in the minimum amount of time.
How long does it take to apply a full makeup?
A full makeup may take ten to fifteen minutes to apply. It will last all day with minimal need for touch-ups!
