What are the benefits?

How often can I have it?

This depends on your skin and what results you want to achieve.  Generally, the best results are seen after 5 to 6 treatments.  These are spaced out, usually between 14-28 days apart.

How long does a session take?

A session takes up to 30 minutes depending on the condition of the skin.

Are there any side effects?

Microdermabrasion carries few side effects or complications, however after treatment skin will be much more sensitive to sun exposure. It is best to keep out of the sun and wear sunscreen at all times after the procedure.  Most clients notice a marked improvement in the texture of their skin immediately after the first treatment, however, some clients may experience dryness, sun sensitivity, and temporary bruising in the area of skin treated. One of the disadvantages of dermabrasion is that it can exfoliate skin only 15-25 micrometers deep, which means that it cannot be used for deep wrinkles.
